The Condition of the fairways were terrible on every hole when I played. Dozens of random puddles and dirt patches. I Loss multiple balls that were hit right in the middle of the fairway. The greens were the only thing in good shape. The staff was really nice too, but overall I had a frustrating experience dealing with those terrible fairways.

I am a member and I golf 4 or 5 days a week. Have for years. I feel the course is in better shape at this same time as last year. The greens are fast and rum smooth. The tee boxes are well maintained. The fairways are wet some mornings but my God it's 100 degrees and you need to keep them wet. Are there things that need to be done on the course, sure. Do they interrupt your golf game, NO. As for the staff: everyone is friendly, the place is clean, even the mowers and grounds people wave and say hi. One worker even gives me golfballs he finds. No problems making tee times. Its not expensive. Moderate rates. They work hard on ideas to get people out there. If you want a good time go to Golden Hills Golf Course.

Just came to play 9 holes with my buddy and it was his first time golfing so we were obviously a good bit slower. I did ask in advance to make sure we had a time with no one behind us. Came on a day 110 degrees at 3 in the afternoon and we were the only people on the course after about 2 hours on the last hole the decided to come tell us we were taking too long and that it would "probably be best if we leave". there was absolutely no body else on the course and they don't close until 8pm so I don't understand the need for that. Everyone in the proshop department had zero energy and seemed completely checked out as well.

This place, (Golden Hill GC) changed their name from Az Golf Resort. Why? The golf course is more like a goat ranch. No rough because there's no grass, sand traps have no sand, fairways are patches of grass. Played 6 holes on front nine and 5 on back nine and quit. 10years ago this was a respectable course with probably the hardest par 3's in the state. So sad.

Great for golfing on PGA Championship rated course. Always busy, plenty of nesrby parking. Offers great 19th hole Golf Cart provided. Course has living areas throughout, residential, townhome and condo or villa style living quarters for rent and sale. Beware of ownership and front desk management, who deal with less than ideal tenants, are viewed as contentious and communication style is less than ideal and they could use training in housing rules and issue resolution to diffuse heated discussions. Employee(s) are viewed as liability or vicarious risky and volatile.
